Goddess Circle #188 - 15th Anniversary Celebration
Join the OOLS on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 as we celebrate 15 years open public Goddess worship with a party! This month we will be taking a look back at the many Goddesses who have graced our Circle during that time period. We’ve honored Goddesses from many different cultures and shared rituals from many other religious traditions and spiritual paths.
Come celebrate with us, dressed as your favorite Goddess, if you'd like—there will be a prize for the best costume. And, don’t forget to brush up on your trivia because we will be playing Goddess Jeopardy. Please join us for a night of fun as we honor the Lady of Ten Thousand Names. The Goddess Worship Service meets on the 2nd Monday of every month at South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society (SVUUS), located at 6876 South Highland Drive (2000 East), Salt Lake City, UT 84121. The Service starts at 7:30 p.m. (but it's best to get there 15 to 20 minutes earlier for a good spot). Allow a couple of hours for ritual; we also have a social time afterward to give everyone a chance to talk to one another, make friends, eat munchies, ask questions, and/or peruse the Community Information Table.
