Order of Our Lady of Salt

The Order is a group of people committed to bringing the Goddess Worship Service to Salt Lake City, Utah, and to their own personal development as pagans. There are categories of initiated membership, but everybody starts as F.O.O.L.S. (Isn't that life?). F.O.O.L.S. are FRIENDS of the Order of Our Lady of Salt.

The category includes those who wish to promote the Service without joining, as well as those in the process of determining their interest in the Order.

If you or someone you know are interested in becoming F.O.O.L.S., here are the expectations. F.O.O.L.S. must be willing to:

• Attend Chapter planning meetings. (Once a month comittment, approximately two weeks before the Service.)
• Accept assignments, although not necessarily speaking parts, for Service.
• Take direction from Order members.
• Accomplish assignments in a timely, efficient manner.

• Complete assigned background reading on Goddess for the month's service and have a good understanding of requirements for the part you were assigned.
• Be reasonably compatible with current Order members.

F.O.O.L.S. are also encouraged to educate themselves in Dianic Wicca and ritual practices. Order members can provide support and mentorship in this process. The opinions of F.O.O.L.S. are solicited, but they have no official voice in Order policy. They cannot attend closed meetings and internal rituals of membership, except by invitation.
